What are your wax melts made from?
Our melts are hand-poured using high-quality Soy wax and carefully selected UK fragrance oils, chosen for strong scent and clean melting.
How long do the wax melts last?
Each melt offers strong, long-lasting fragrance. As a general guide, 1g of wax = around 1 hour of scent, so our boxes typically provide 60–100 hours of fragrance, depending on the size of the room and the burner you use.
Tealight burners tend to produce a more powerful scent throw, but the higher heat can make the fragrance evaporate a little quicker compared to electric burners.
Are your products handmade or outsourced?
Yes! Every melt and car scent is made by hand in small batches here in Kent by me. No machines and no mass manufacturing.
Are your melts safe for pets and children?
As a dog owner myself, I’m very mindful of furry friends and little ones around the home. All of my products are made following strict safety guidelines, and I carefully choose my suppliers and fragrance oils with wellbeing in mind.
To keep everyone safe, please ensure scented products are kept out of reach of children and curious paws. Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are available on request and all allergens are clearly listed on the CLP labels attached to each product — so you always know exactly what’s inside.
What type of burners can I use?
Our wax melts work beautifully in both electric and tealight burners. If you’re using a tealight burner, we recommend choosing one with a safe distance between the flame and the dish to prevent the wax from overheating.
To stay safe and get the best scent experience, please avoid 8-hour tealights, as they can generate too much heat. 4-hour tealights are perfect — they melt the wax evenly while keeping everything at a safe temperature.
How long will delivery take?
Between October and March things get wonderfully busy here, but I always aim to dispatch your order within 48 hours of it being placed. Most parcels arrive within 2–4 working days, and you’ll receive full tracking details so you can keep an eye on your delivery.

My melt isn’t as strong as expected — why?
Fragrance strength can vary slightly between oils and can also be experienced differently from person to person. The type of burner or heat lamp you use — along with the size and ventilation of the room — will also affect how strong the scent feels.
To find your perfect aroma experience, I always recommend trying both electric and tealight burners and seeing which gives you the best fragrance throw in your home.
Are your fragrances inspired by well-known perfumes?
Some are — but Rubdub is affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by any high street fragrance brands.
Can I return or exchange my order?
If there’s a problem, please contact me. I will always replace or refund a product if you are not entirely satisfied.
Do you use eco-friendly packaging?
I use recyclable packaging wherever possible and continuously look for ways to be kinder to the planet.
